Sewer Line Repair Replacement and Cleaning
A functional sewer line is something that many people take for granted. Whether it’s a residential or commercial facility, most people never stop to think about what they would do if a sewer line malfunctions. Clogs or damaged lines can do more than cause your utilities to become non-operational. These problems can disrupt your schedule and be costly to fix if not treated quickly. While most people are willing to attempt to handle small drips and clogs by themselves, larger sewer line problems are best handled by the professionals. Given their familiarity with sewer lines, professional companies can provide repairs, replacements, and cleanings that are both affordable and speedy.
Repairing and Replacing Broken Sewer Lines
When a sewer line ruptures, multiple problems can emerge. Not only does this cause certain utilities to stop working, but it can lead to serious leaks and flooding. Whether this occurs on the inside or outside of a building, it can be very stressful to deal with. Plumbers who specialize in sewer repair know how to find a broken line and repair the damage so your sewage system can be returned to working order. In the event that a line is too damaged to repair, it can be replaced. Though this may require a bit more work, it can greatly extend the lifespan of any sewage system.
Thorough and Efficient Sewer Line Cleaning
Given that a broken sewer line can be a very costly and cumbersome problem to deal with, most people want to minimize the chance that this issue will occur at their home or business. One of the best ways to do this is to have lines cleaned on a regular basis. By removing debris and buildup in lines, anyone can help their sewer system work more efficiently and for longer periods of time.

Trenchless Sewer Line Repair & Replacement
Stop Digging & Destroying Your Yard - Go Trenchless
A broken sewer line, drain line or main water pipe does not mean tearing up your yard, or even worse, your driveway or the concrete slab of your home. There is another way!!
One Call Plumbing offers both types of trenchless methods; Pipe Lining and Pipe Bursting. One Call Plumbing has a knowledgeable crew to perform whichever method is the best for your situation.
What is Pipe Bursting?
Requires 2 Access Points
Pipe Bursting is exactly what it sounds like. Your One Call Plumbing crew will excavate two small access points (one at the beginning and one at the end) of the “host pipe” to be replaced or “burst”. From these access points, a high tension cable will be passed from one point to the next through the host pipe. Then a proprietary bursting head will be attached to the cable and the new pipe attached to the bursting head. Now the magic, the cable, bursting head and new pipe are pulled through the old host pipe by means of a hydraulic ram or wench, so the old pipe is burst by the bursting cone and the new pipe is laid right in its place. Once completed, your One Call Plumbing Technician will connect the pipes at the two access points and backfill the dirt. This method also allows an increase in pipe size if needed or requested.
What is Pipe Lining?
Requires 1 Access Point
Pipe Lining is also exactly what it sounds like. Using precise measurements, calculations and specialty materials, your One Call Plumbing Technician will “make” a new PVC pipe inside your old pipe. This method only requires one access point and can even, in some cases, be done with ZERO excavation or digging! Pipe Lining utilizes the old pipe or host pipe as its guide and will decrease the diameter by 3/16” to ¼”, this however, does not lesson your pipes ability to drain, it actually increases it! Testing done by all the different manufactures of the lining materials show the flow characteristics actually increase due to the liner is all one piece, no joints or fittings causing turbulence! One Call Plumbing’s Pipe Lining can be done on any pipe from 2” to 6” in diameter, any day of the week and can go 6” or higher with notice and mobilization. One Call Plumbing’s Pipe Lining can be done from any length up to 360’ in one continuous liner. Most companies have 100’ to 150’ limits on machinery and will do “over-lapping” to make the distance. Pipe Lining materials are rated with ASTM standards of 50 year design life, so this will be a one-time investment.
Pipe Bursting vs Pipe Lining vs Excavation
*There is not any “best” to these methods as a rule but there is a “best” for each situation and each situation must be evaluated carefully, thoroughly and without bias to then determine what would be best for you, owe customer and your project. One Call Plumbing will thoroughly evaluate and discuss all the options and their respective Pros and Cons to help each customer make an educated decision on their project.
